Patient Liaison

Description

Patient Placement Center Specialist supports care for Providence St Joseph Health (PSJH) patients by coordinating the patient intake process. Responsibilities include answering and triaging calls, verifying eligibility, facilitating inbound and outbound transfers, and ensuring accurate documentation. The Patient Liaison collaborates with internal and external partners to support timely patient transfers and will be responsible for assisting team to problem solve complex critical cases and situations.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience require.
• 1-3 years of healthcare related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
