About the Role :
The Infusion Center at NVRH sees approximately 1520 patients per day in this busy and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver Safe and Compassionate Infusion TherapyAdminister IV medications and therapies following NVRH and INS standards, while monitoring patient responses and ensuring comfort and safety.
Coordinate Clinical and Administrative OperationsManage scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews, while maintaining effective communication with providers, payers, and care teams.
Educate and Support Patients and FamiliesProvide clear, personalized education about treatment plans, assess understanding, and document teaching efforts to promote informed care.
Ensure Accurate Documentation and ComplianceMaintain thorough and timely documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records in accordance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.Minimum of two years RN experience required.One-year acute care experience preferred.BSN required.Current Vermont or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license.Current BLS from the American Heart Association. Preferred certifications : Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI)About NVRH
