Security Officer - Access Control Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with team members and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
  • Collaborate with team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment.
  • Document all incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
