Job Description
Description :
Senior Software Engineer
Location : Phoenix, AZ (In-Office)
Department : Bend Payments
Reports to : Chief Product Officer
Type : Full-Time / Exempt
Build the Engine Behind Modern Receivables Infrastructure.
We’re not looking for someone to maintain legacy systems.
We’re looking for a senior engineer who wants to shape and scale a product from the inside, someone who enjoys turning messy, manual financial workflows into elegant, automated systems.
Bend Payments powers receivables and collections for some of the largest property management companies in North America. We are profitable, well-funded, and operating at the intersection of payments infrastructure, financial automation, and applied AI in a heavily regulated environment.
If you want to strengthen your product engineering muscle while owning real architecture decisions, this is that opportunity.
Why This Role Is Different?
This is not a feature-factory role.
You will :
- Own systems end-to-end from data modeling to deployment
- Help define architecture, not just implement it
- Work directly with the CPO to influence product direction
- Build in a domain where reliability, compliance, and scale actually matter
- See your work directly impact revenue and operational efficiency
- You’ll help evolve a platform that automates receivables workflows that were historically manual, fragmented, and compliance-heavy.
