As a Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide an exceptional experience for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You'll play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment, demonstrating our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while acting with integrity and putting people first.

What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.

Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate personnel.

Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information and guidance as requested.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and instructions from Allied Universal or site management.

Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter theft and unauthorized activities within the retail location.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
