Job Summary

The Environmental Protection Specialist II will drive environmental compliance and sustainability across the Market Area act as the district EP contact guiding teams on regulations and best practices monitor compliance resolve issues and deliver training to ensure adherence to California environmental standards.

What Were Looking For :

• Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills
• Experience with California environmental regulations (water waste air quality etc.)
• Ability to interpret regulations and turn them into practical solutions
• Collaborative approach to coaching teams and supporting sustainability goals

This is an in-office position candidate must be willing to commute to Azusa CA and other WM facilities in the Los Angeles area each with experience in landfills the IGP WDR CERS CEQA Hazardous Materials and SPCC plans encouraged to apply.

The expected base pay range for this office / on-site position is $90000 - $115000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successfulcandidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience education training certifications qualifications and work addition this position is eligible for incentive pay.
