Self-starter, can work with low supervision. Must be able to manage time and delegate tasks effectively. Highly detail-oriented. Active Listening. Leadership ability Customer service / Interpersonal skills. Dexterity and preciseness required operating gauges and other testing equipment. The employee is required to use both hands to secure large parts. The employee must be able to bend and kneel to check parts. The employee is required to stand for long intervals of time. Near vision acuity of Jaeger 2 required at a distance of 12-17 inches to inspect parts and read various measuring instruments. Quality Director
The Quality Director is responsible for RMC's quality management systems and programs. The QD has ultimate responsibility for directing and managing quality management, quality control, complaint investigation and closure, corrective action management, and document functions. This position must maintain full compliance with ISO and federal safety and quality requirements and maintain efficiency in the process and drive product quality improvement activities. The Quality Director will serve as the Management Representative for the Company's quality communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Metrology Lab, inspectors, and other workers engaged in quality activities and monitor work levels and review performance.
- Manage the overall quality direction of the Company and the effectiveness of the quality management system, including the ISO 9000 program.
- Take lead responsibility for significant quality issues. Be "hands on" with the issue, develop a plan to resolve the issue, communicate the plan and progress on the plan to the organization.
- Develop and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.
- Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, management, outside vendors, and customers.
