The Journeyman Electrician will install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and conveyor systems in Industrial Water / Wastewater and Oil & Gas. In addition, this position will be familiar with installing power supply wiring and troubleshooting types of electrical components in Industrial settings.

What you will be Doing :
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on small oil and gas construction projects such as well pads, compressor stations, and pump jacksBend, thread, and install various types of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC-coated) in accordance with project specifications and NEC standardsCollaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure safe and timely project executionRespond promptly to service calls and execute repairs or adjustments based on field conditionsParticipate in commissioning and startup of systems on smaller oil and gas construction projectsCoordinate with procurement or material handling for field parts and suppliesMaintain accurate documentation and ensure installations are performed to code and client standardsPerform routine maintenance and upgrades in operating facilitiesSupport the integration and wiring of PLCs and VFDsInstall and terminate motor starters, control panels, transformers, lighting systems, and instrumentation devicesYour Skills and Qualifications :
Current Texas Journeyman Electrician LicenseElectrical lineman experience is requiredValid Driver's license5+ years' experience as an electrician; extensive experience in Industrial Settings such as, Water / Wastewater and Oil & Gas.Hands-on experience with small construction projects, including new well pad builds or facility upgradesExperience with leading construction projectsAbility to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specificationsAbility to work independentlyWorking knowledge of industrial electrical systemsAbility to read blueprints, technical drawings, diagrams, and follow specificationsBend and Install Rigid conduitUnderstanding of Instrumentation devicesMotor terminationsAbility to work independentlyCustomer service skillsAs part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and professional work environment, the Crimson Group of Companies conducts comprehensive background checks and drug and alcohol testing on all prospective employees as part of the final offer process.
