Job Summary :

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) provides high-quality phlebotomy and specimen processing services for patients seeking routine or essential diagnostic testing. This role draws accurate blood specimens, supports patient comfort, ensures compliance with clinical procedures, and maintains documentation and workflow accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures.

Maintain a clean, professional, and safe patient environment.

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collections confidently and accurately.

Maintain logs, records, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive experience for patients, staff, and clients.

Work independently with minimal onsite supervision.

Perform phlebotomy procedures across diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric.

Support scheduling needs including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as required.

Required Experience :

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience.

Keyboard / data entry experience required.

Customer service background preferred.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

1+ years phlebotomy experience.

Experience in high-volume clinical or retail customer service environments.

Required Skills :

Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric).

Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

High accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

Strong communication and patient service abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Professionalism and reliability.

Required Education :

High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA; not required in NY ).

Work Environment & Schedule :

Alternating week schedule :

A Schedule : M–F 6 : 00 AM–1 : 00 PM; Sat 6 : 00 AM–12 : 00 PM

B Schedule : M–F 6 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM

Onsite only; no remote eligibility

Not a hospital site; no additional credentialing

COVID vaccination not required
