Description :

The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.

This role is a critical member of a unit that cares for a significant number of cardiology patients annually.

Procedures may include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.

The unit also specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.

Research departments manage many national clinical trials within this specialty area.

The unit has been recognized for achieving excellence in patient care and outcomes.

Leadership, medical staff, and colleagues work together as a team to demonstrate top performance in care and efficiency.

Attendance policies are strictly enforced.

Absences from scheduled shifts or lateness may result in immediate termination.

Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
