Client is an established tax and accounting firm serving individuals, small businesses, and other organizations in Chicago's client neighborhood and beyond. We value accuracy in our work, collaboration in our office, and clear communication with our clients.

Position Overview
We're seeking a Tax Manager (CPA) with approximately 5-7 years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns, maintaining bookkeeping records, and providing client-facing service.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Chicago office. It is ideal for someone who can independently manage a book of clients, direct the end-to-end compliance process, and run point on tax engagements with minimal oversight.
This role will be primarily responsible for :
- Reviewing tax returns prepared by administrative staff and accountants (1040, Schedule C, 1065, 1120, 990, 1041, and others)
- Signing and submitting accurate returns and reports to the IRS and state departments of revenue
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through questions about the results of prepared returns and offering recommendations for future action items
