Schedule : 05 : 00 - 13 : 30 with overtime and weekend hours as needed
Pay Rate : XX23.00
Responsibilities :
- Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment setup, etc.
- Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles
- Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical, fluid, and electrical measurement equipment assemblies according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures
- Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager, and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and / or maintenance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
- Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but limited to, torque wrenches, gauges, etc.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success
Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant fieldAbility to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilitiesAbility to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test proceduresBasic mathematics skillsHand dexterity required to assemble small mechanical or electrical componentsBasic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to climb ladders / stairs and work in small, restricted areasPerform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs.Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends if / when necessaryMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired
