Hourly $35.00 - $38.00

• We welcome applications from new Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) graduates, especially those with experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), or Medical Assistant (MA)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced Licensed VocationalNurses to work continuous care and / or alternate and guaranteed hours shifts. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and will provide careto assigned hospice patients. You will provide intermittent visits and / orshifts of skilled nursing care, performing prescribed medical treatments,including pain management and symptom control, nursing observations, teachingregarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other healthmeasures to the patient, family, or other primary caregivers. You will alsoparticipate in the care plan development and implementation with other membersof the hospice interdisciplinary team.

You must possess a sympathetic attitude toward caringfor hospice patients and families, able to communicate and interact well withother members of the hospice team and be comfortable with computers and use ofelectronic medical records.
