Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic. Utilize dental clinic systems, including Epic, for patient management and documentation. Support the front desk as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients. Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is required. Knowledge of dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential. Familiarity with dental clinic systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are necessary for maintaining patient records and managing appointments. Certification in dental assisting.
