Energy Trader

A company is looking for an Energy Trader.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and refine day-ahead and real-time trading strategies in PJM to generate risk-adjusted returns

Monitor market changes and provide insights for timely trade decisions while managing portfolio risk limits

Build quantitative dashboards and models to enhance strategy selection and document post-trade reviews

Required Qualifications

Minimum two years of profitable proprietary trading experience in PJM Virtuals / UTCs or related derivatives

Demonstrated ownership of trading strategy from idea generation to execution and risk management

Familiarity with PJM market data and ICE power contracts

Proficiency in analytical languages (Python, SQL) and strong Excel skills

Authorized to work in the United States; open to W-2 or 1099 engagement structures
