Position: Android Developer
Location: Remote
Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic engineering team building scalable, high-performance mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing and developing modern Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, performant Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Implement robust, testable, and maintainable code using MVVM with Clean Architecture principles.
- Leverage Jetpack Components (Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, DataStore, WorkManager) for scalable app development.
- Integrate dependency injection using Dagger/Hilt to manage complex application dependencies.
- Ensure seamless cross-platform functionality across iOS and Android via shared logic (where applicable).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Champion best practices in code quality, performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Android development with Kotlin as primary language.
- Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dagger/Hilt.
- Proficient with Android Studio, Git, JIRA, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, Room, Coroutines, and RxJava.
- Familiarity with microservices, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD in enterprise environments.
