About the Role
MWHis currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to support the mechanical packages and lead a team of construction professionals on a critical water treatment plant construction project based out of Gresham, Oregon.
Package-Specific Mechanical Scope
Typical mechanical scopes may include, but are not limited to :
- Process piping and pipe supports
- Pumps, blowers, mixers, and treatment process equipment ,valves, gates, actuators, and appurtenances
- Chemical feed systems and storage equipment
- HVAC systems serving treatment facilities
- Mechanical equipment installation, alignment, and testing
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the mechanical package from preconstruction through closeoutManage mechanical subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performanceOversee budget management, cost forecasting, and change management for mechanical scopesCoordinate mechanical installation activities with civil, electrical, and process teamsEnsure mechanical systems meet drawings, specifications, and operational requirementsLead mechanical support for startup, commissioning, and system turnoverChampion safety, quality control, and regulatory complianceRequired Experience & Knowledge
7+ years of construction project management or mechanical project leadership experienceManage mechanical packages in value of $100+ millionDemonstrated experience managing mechanical scopes on water or wastewater treatment facilitiesStrong understanding of process piping, pumps, valves, and treatment equipmentExperience supporting commissioning, startup, and owner turnover activitiesWorking knowledge of construction cost control, scheduling, and change managementEducation
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Equivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
