Electrical Wireman

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Wireman to join our team in an industrial-commercial setting, focused on assembling large power distribution equipment. The role involves performing electrical assembly and wiring of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment, using schematics to wire panels and units, and bending / installing conduit (Rigid & EMT).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical assembly and wiring of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment.
• Utilize schematics to wire panels and units.
• Bend and install conduit (Rigid & EMT).
• Complete the building and wiring of units that can take over a month to finish.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, organized, and climate-controlled facility built in 2010 and recently renovated. Collaborate with mechanical assemblers and other fabricators in a large industrial-commercial setting that manufactures substations, switchgear, circuit breakers, and more. The standard shift is from 5 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with possible overtime on Fridays. Expect to work 5-10 hours of overtime per week when required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
