Construction Manager Trainee (CMT) Summary :

The Construction Manager Trainee assists in the supervision, coordination, & management of all assigned residential construction.

Your Responsibilities on the Team Assisting in preparing & maintaining job schedules.

Inspecting & enforcing job safety requirements.

Completing ‘punch lists’ & assisting in completion of new home orientation lists.

Attending construction meetings & training classes as scheduled.

Ensuring job site cleanliness & assisting in completion of model / inventory maintenance.

Assisting in areas of service-related issues.

Daily interaction with various division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, & homeowners.

Construction Manager Trainee (CMT) Qualifications :

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED / College degree preferred
  • Must possess organization skills (keeping current daily schedules, maintaining timely & accurate flow of paperwork)
  • Must possess excellent time management & interpersonal skills
  • Must have valid Driver’s License & auto insurance w / good driving record
  • Computer literacy & proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel) a plus!
  • Prior experience / knowledge of construction & building code practices & procedures a plus!
  • Ability to read / interpret blueprints a plus!
