Job Title : L2 SQL Server Database Engineer

Job Location : Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)

Shift : 2 PM - 11 PM

Description :

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Engineer to join our growing team. This role requires a skilled professional to provide comprehensive SQL Server support and ensure high availability for mission-critical systems. The Database Engineer will play a key part in maintaining performance, capacity, and compliance while participating in cloud migration and modernization projects.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide database platform-level support for MS SQL Server environments.
• Manage databases at the infrastructure level, including patching, upgrades, and participation in DR exercises.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server systems, quickly resolving infrastructure and production issues.
• Establish and maintain high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) solutions using technologies such as Always On and Mirroring.
• Coordinate and resolve database access requests, incidents, and compliance remediation tasks.
• Analyze and report on database operational performance in relation to key metrics.
• Implement and maintain SQL maintenance jobs and backup / recovery strategies.
• Participate in database cloud migration (Azure PaaS & IaaS) initiatives.
