Job Description

Are you a talented, numbers driven professional looking for the opportunity to grow in your career? Look no further! Ledgent is hiring Staff Accountants near Waterbury, CT. We are looking for individuals who are independent & highly organized to join our client's growing organizations! There is room to grow into a Senior Accountant within the next 1-3 years!

Responsibilities :

  • Support accounts payable & receivable
  • Journal entries
  • Month-end closing
  • Account & bank reconciliations
  • Assist senior leadership as needed

Qualifications :

  • BS Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Junior Accountant, Staff Accountant or similar role
  • Proficient in ERP Systems (NetSuite, Great Plains, MS Dynamics, SAP, etc.) & Excel
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
