As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Support the healthcare location by providing a visible security-related presence and assisting with security-related matters as directed by site management.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Minimum Requirements :
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
