Maintenance Engineer

Overview

:
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering and facilities team. In this role, you will help ensure our hotel remains a safe, welcoming, and high-functioning environment for guests and team members. You’ll be hands-on with equipment, systems, and spaces, responding quickly to issues and helping us maintain a standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Excellence: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Problem Solver: Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate and work closely with other departments to ensure timely and effective service.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance to proactively address potential issues.
• Emergency Response: Be ready to respond to urgent situations such as equipment malfunctions or utility failures.
• Innovate Solutions: Suggest improvements to systems and procedures for better efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Record Keeping: Accurately document repairs, inspections, and equipment history.
• Perform with Pride: Take ownership of your work and support a culture of excellence in hospitality.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance required.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are a plus.
• A positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
