Global Physical Security Systems Project Manager
The Global Physical Security (GPS) System Team manages physical security technology across the corporation. Oracle is seeking a highly experienced and multi-talented member of the physical security systems team. This role will be responsible for the delivery of Oracle controlled security systems projects across Oracle's Data Center portfolio, primarily focused on new build projects. As a leading contributor individually and as a team member, managing all aspects of the project life cycle through to successful handover. The work is often non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical and business skills in this area of specialization.

Provides management and oversight ensuring that Oracles Security Systems are design and installed consistently across the globe. These initiatives include, but are not limited to :
Requirements
5+ years project management experience, with a primary focus on Data Center Security Systems deployment. Proven track record of success in the delivery of Data Center retrofit physical security projects. Must be self-motivated, but equally comfortable working within a team or alone and requiring minimal supervision. Must possess a strong background in design of Lenel Access Control & Milestone CCTV Systems. Wider experience of further Access Control, CCTV and other Security Systems is desirable but not an absolute requirement. Detailed experience working with Data Center CoLo teams to provide infrastructure requirements for physical security systems. The position will require extensive travel across the AMER region. Often attending project planning, coordination and implementation meetings supporting Data Center / CoLo Project Managers, GPS Operational Team, Architects, General Contractors, and our appointed VARs. Excellent presentation and communication skills are an absolute requirement, with the ability to articulate with a high level of proficiency in both the written and verbal formats at all levels, up to and including Corporate Executive leadership. Highly proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communication techniques, being highly organized with a natural flair for documentation production and storage.
BS / BA Degree desirable but not mandatory. Professional Project Management certifications are highly desirable. Physically located in US. Ability to show experience in the above required essential functions is mandatory. Additional industry certifications are highly desirable, but not absolutely required.
Scope of Responsibility, Impact of Decisions and Degree of Supervision
The Data Center Security Systems Project Managers scope of responsibility will be focused on the AMER region. There may be instances where EMEA / JAPAC works need to be undertaken. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Global Data Center Security Systems New Build Program Manager, who is based in the UK. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role that has no direct reports. There is an expectancy of up to 50% global travel.
