Job Description

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer with 2+ years of custom machine design experience. The ideal candidate should be able to make custom designs using Solidworks per customer specification.

Responsibilities Include

• Design of automated machinery and / or tooling.
• Produce complete assembly and detail drawings.
• Review / Check engineering work for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
• Maintain project related documents, records, and files.
• Represent the company to customers and suppliers as needed to define / review projects, solve problems, and provide technical expertise.
• Provide technical assistance to Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, QA and Assembly as needed.
• Construct Bills of Material (BOMs) through ERP and / or PDM systems.
• Input and release of engineered components and assemblies to purchasing / planning via ERP software.
• Perform drawing / document revisions and / or Engineering Change Requests (ECR).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08 / hr.
