Job Title : Assistant Production Manager

General Responsibility and Function :
We are a fast-paced chemical handling facility that specializes in the safe movement and management of chemicals transported in totes, tankers, ISOs, and various other containers. Our team plays a vital role in supporting industries such as water treatment, mining, oil & gas, and manufacturing. Safety, reliability, and efficiency are at the core of everything we do.
As our operation grows, we are looking for a hands-on, organized, and safety-focused Assistant Production Manager to support daily facility operations. This role involves coordinating labor, overseeing manual workflows, and assisting with the logistics, blending, and movement of chemical containers throughout the site. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to operational continuity, including working on-call, weekends, holidays, nights, and across all shifts to guarantee product is safely delivered to its final-mile destination.

Work Environment :
This position may involve exposure to hazardous materials and requires strict adherence to safety protocols at all times. The job will include chemical blending, as well as both indoor and outdoor work in a variety of conditions, including loading, unloading, and transferring chemical containers, and transporting hazardous materials and samples to designated lab or processing areas within the facility. The work environment may involve physical labor, fluctuating temperatures, and the need for constant awareness of surroundings to ensure safety and compliance with industry regulations. This role also requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed to support continuous operations and ensure that products are safely delivered to their final destination.
