Gastroenterology opening Äì Orange County, CA City : Fullerton, CAStart date : As soon as possible Position Details

- Practice Setting : Outpatient and inpatient
- Patients per Shift : 12
- Admissions : Not required
- Call : Beeper, 1 : 6 ratio, 20 Äì30 min response time
- EMR : Epic Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship trained (will consider fellows within 1 year of residency)
- ACLS and BLS required
- Active California license preferred; will consider unlicensed candidates with strong ties to California / Orange County
- Credentialing : 90 days (no temporary privileges) Support Staff
- 2 Medical Assistants
- 3.5 APPs
- 5 office staff Clinical Skills
- Required : - Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery / laser, varices injection) - PEG placement - Esophageal dilation / manometry - Small bowel biopsy - Sigmoidoscopy (flexible; rigid preferred) - Colonoscopy (biopsy, polypectomy) - Sengstaken / Blakemore tube management
- Preferred : - ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) - Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) Äì not expected in this role Community Details
