Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $86, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities :
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of standard costs and underlying cost drivers across materials, labor, and overhead.
Analyze operational and financial performance by evaluating variances, efficiency trends, and key metrics to support decision making.
Oversee inventory accuracy by validating physical counts, reconciling records, and supporting reliable financial reporting.
Support month end close, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing activities by ensuring cost data is properly reflected and communicated.
Conduct financial analyses for capital projects, feasibility studies, and special initiatives to guide strategic investments.
Requirements :
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, thorough financial analyses.
Communicate clearly through strong written and verbal skills while partnering effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
Adapt to changing priorities, manage competing demands, and apply sound judgment in dynamic environments.

Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
5+ years of hands on experience in cost accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis.
Utilize accounting software and ERP systems effectively, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Understand GAAP and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting and financial reporting.
Leverage experience in manufacturing or technology environments to support cost modeling and operational analysis.
