Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections. Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries. Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program. A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases. Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care. Apply clinical judgment and critical thinking to support optimal outcomes. Contribute to positive patient experiences across the continuum of care. Use the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness. Recognize changes in patient condition and adjust the care plan as necessary. Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take corrective actions as needed. Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department functions. Continually seek opportunities for personal and professional development. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Completion of an accredited nursing program. Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Ability to provide holistic patient care focused on individual and family needs. Recognize and respond promptly to situational changes requiring intervention. Proficient in computer and electronic medical record systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships. Demonstrated decision-making and organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Teamwork and delegation skills. Must engage in physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting frequently. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push / pull with 30 lbs force, and execute sliding transfers. Exposure to chemical and hazardous waste and the need for protective clothing and equipment. Functional speech, vision, hearing, and fine motor skills are essential.

Base compensation aligned within the pay range, based on qualifications and experience.

Schedule Details :
Night shifts of 8 and 12 hours, with every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift
Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000
