Medical Administrative Assistant

We are looking to bring in a Medical Administrative Assistant contract-to-hire. The company is a workers comp case management company supporting 900 healthcare providers including physical therapists, physicians, etc. The customers are case managers these individuals will be providing support to.

• Each individual will get assigned a ticket from a que such as updating addresses in the system or upgrading their contract in the system
• These tickets could include anything from verification of appointments, process and distribute reports, complete demographic information on regulatory forms, request medical records and fax materials.
• Must be able to have care for the patient and have an administrative phone follow through and organization are a huge piece of this
• Their phone system is ran through a computer system and internet
• Perform transcription services and tasks as instructed by case manager.
• Release of Information form management directed by individual case managers.
• Skills & Qualifications

Experience in administrative / office support role.

Phone experience is helpful, but not required

The role will consist of :

• AdHoc Requests,
• ALARISware Contract Updates
• Appointment Confirmations - Call to Provider & Call to Patient
• Coordinate Translation / Onsite Interpreter - Call to Vendor
• Coordinate Transportation - Call to Vendors
• Data Transfers from Prior Case
• Document Conversion and Uploading to AlARISware
• Legal Records
• Mail and Fax Services (Incoming and Outgoing)
• Medical Record Invoice Payments
• Medical Record Organization / Printing
• Medical Provider Repayments
• Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75 / hr.
