Commercial Credit Analyst

Summary

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and collateral evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans for recommendation.
• Examines, evaluates, and recommends risk rating and loan decision based on analysis
• Prepares Credit Offering Reports and Term Sheets (with Lender assistance).
• Notify loan operations when a loan has been decisioned
• Compiles executed Credit Offering Reports for submitting to loan specialist for booking.
• Collaborates with Lenders managing matured loans.
• Contributes with Lenders on Account Monitoring Plans for accounts and / or relationships.
• Conducts market or industry research when needed.

Education / Experience :   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. One to three years of experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting in a financial institution or equivalent experience in loan review, auditing, or financial analysis required.

Computer Skills :   To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft office products including Word and Excel.
