DMS Sonography Instructor (Part Time)

Charter College , an established and growing career college with locations in Washington, New Mexico, Alaska, Montana and Southern California is now currently seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part time Sonography DMS Instructors to teach in a blended course environment for our Oxnard, CA campus during the day .

Our 10-week courses average variable hours are available, which includes class and online time with the students. Monday through Saturday options.

JOB DUTIES :

• Prepare for each course to be taught a syllabus consistent with course descriptions.
• Impress upon our students the importance of exhibiting appropriate conduct in the workplace.
• Acquire feedback to determine whether students understand each segment of the course.
• Maintain academic standards.
• Evaluate students' progress often and share those evaluations with them promptly.
• Be available to students with concerns.
• Review and be guided by student evaluations of instruction.
• Play an intricate role in student retention efforts.
• Serve on faculty committees.
• Attend and participate in official college functions.
• Keep on file official transcripts of your formal studies.
• Enroll in such courses of study and participate in such programs of professional growth.

REQUIREMENTS :

Associate degree in Sonography required bachelor’s degree preferred.

3 years' experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, student guidance and in educational theories and techniques.

Minimum three (3) years' experience as a registered Sonographer.

Maintain a RDMS Certification or ARRT Certification.

COMPENSATION :

Part Time.

Hourly - Non-Exempt - $37.00- $45.32 DOE.

SCHEDULE :

We are seeking instructors that can accommodate the day shift.

Variable hours - 8 : 30 a.m. - 8 : 30 p.m. (Monday through Saturday).

4-hour shift.

Day shift.

Evening shift.

EXPERIENCE :

Sonography : 3 years (Required).

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION :

RDMS Sonographer License or ARRT Certified (Required).

ABILITY TO COMMUTE :

Oxnard, CA 93036 (Required).

ABILITY TO RELOCATE :

Oxnard, CA 93036 : Relocate before starting work (Required).

WORK LOCATION : In person.
