LHH is partnering with a company in a fun industry that is looking for a temporary to hire Senior Accountant. This position is fully in office in downtown Seattle. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive accounting experience and strong analytical skills. Your main tasks will be creating journal entries, variance analysis, and reconciliations. The company handles a high amount of transactions, and this is a fast-paced work environment, so it's preferred that you have previous experience in a similar setting. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis to identify key financial trends.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage high-volume transaction processing in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and audits.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skill level.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision; demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
