At Westview Healthcare Center , we're dedicated to helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence - and we're looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehab team. If you're motivated, collaborative, and passionate about patient care, this is the role for you!

What You'll Do :

  • Provide treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Accurately record daily treatment notes, weekly progress reports, and treatment changes per PT Board and facility policies.
  • Support patients' recovery by carrying out physician-approved therapy plans.
  • Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team members about patient progress and needs.
  • Train and support Restorative Aides and family caregivers to ensure successful transitions of care.
  • Participate in care conferences, in-services, and ongoing team education.
  • Assist with department upkeep, equipment safety, and maintaining a clean treatment area.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
