Lead Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports Therapy | Willows, CA

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) ready to lead and elevate outpatient orthopedic care? Join a therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy practice in Willows, California as a Lead Physical Therapist (PT) where clinical excellence, mentorship, and patient-centered care come first. This full-time leadership role offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation with profit sharing and a $10,000 sign-on bonus , relocation support, and a supportive team culture.

Position Highlights

  • Setting : Outpatient orthopedic & sports physical therapy
  • Schedule : Full-time with flexible hours
  • Location : Willows, CA (Northern California / Sacramento Valley region)
  • Population Served : Outpatient orthopedic and sports therapy patients
  • Compensation : $120,000–$190,000 annually
  • Bonuses & Perks :

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality orthopedic and sports physical therapy evaluation and treatment
  • Lead clinical staff with mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance
  • Set and model best practices for patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership on scheduling, workflows, and patient care standards
  • Support team development through clinical education and ongoing feedback
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with practice standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

    • Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports therapy preferred
  • Prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • New grads with leadership drive encouraged to apply

    Based in Willows, California , this outpatient physical therapy clinic serves the Sacramento Valley and Northern California region with a focus on comprehensive orthopedic and sports care. Willows offers a close-knit community feel while still providing access to larger urban amenities in nearby Chico and Sacramento. This onsite role does not require travel beyond the clinic.
