  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure integrated care approaches.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge to support progress beyond the therapy sessions.
  • Assist in conducting inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout the healing process.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
  • Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for individuals of all ages, possessing a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders relating to speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and a collaborative care team.
  • Ability to modify therapy approaches to suit the varied cultural and linguistic needs of clients.
  • Strong decision-making skills and clinical reasoning capabilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements.
  • Benefits

  • Attractive salary depending on experience.
  • Flexible work hours to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for specialization in pediatric, adult neuro rehabilitative care, or geriatrics.

  • A Career That Inspires Growth and Connection

In this position, you won't merely provide therapy; you will become an integral part of a community dedicated to amplifying voices, fostering connections, and initiating healing journeys through the foundational elements of communication : understanding and empathy.

You will join compassionate colleagues who view each other as family, and in a space where teamwork and collaboration are prioritized over competition. Every client presents a unique story; we depend on your expertise to help narrate it meaningfully.

Why You Will Enjoy Living and Working in Arlington

Life in Arlington captures the heart and spirit of Texas, offering a unique blend of modern innovation and classic Southern charm. Set amid lush parks and picturesque landscapes, this area boasts abundant opportunities for recreation and community engagement.

Families often gather in cozy green spaces for outdoor concerts and leisurely picnics, while active individuals delight in walking trails, sports activities, and vibrant social scenes. Culinary enthusiasts relish diverse dining experiences, from food festivals to gourmet restaurants showcasing local ingredients.

The cultural vibrancy is palpable, felt in the thriving arts scene, local music venues, and numerous festivals celebrating the community's rich diversity. Furthermore, Arlington offers professionals both personal and financial advantages : no state income tax, reasonable living costs, and a flourishing healthcare sector that empowers careers to flourish.

For those entering the field or experienced clinicians ready to expand their horizons, this destination provides the ideal environment for holistic growth.

    Who We Are Seeking

We invite a Speech Language Pathologist driven by not just technical proficiency but also genuine compassion. Someone who envisions communication as the bridge to connection; who listens to a child's silence and dreams of their expressive future; who hears the hesitant speech of a stroke survivor and recognizes their inner strength.

Your expertise may lie in pediatric services with aspirations to engage with adults, or you may be specialized in neurotherapy with a desire to embrace early intervention strategies.

If you are prepared to lend your heart and lead with your expertise, we're excited to consider you for our devoted team.

    Let's Collaborate in Building Connections

If you understand that speech encompasses more than mere words, and that therapy is about interaction and trust-building - if you believe in the power of laughter alongside language - then this opportunity could be the defining chapter in your professional narrative.

Join a community that cherishes dialogue, connection, and the bravery needed to embark on new journeys. Apply today to help empower others to find their voices through our work - together, we can change lives.
