Clinical Medical Assistant - Dermatology

This is a unique opportunity to work for a premier, multi-doctor, well established Orange County dermatology practice.

• Starting pay for this position is $17 to $20 per hour, based upon relevant experience.

Full Time and Part Time Positions Available

• Exciting and diverse position in a fast-paced environment
• Pleasantly greet and room patients and ascertain the reason for their visit
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and surgeries
• Coordinate and assist with MOHS surgery
• iPledge patient management
• Promptly answer and return patient phone calls
• Assist dermatologist with visits, procedures, paperwork, etc.
• Prepare room and patient for procedures and surgeries
• Scribe/chart
• Adequately stock exam/surgery rooms
• Prescription refills and PAs
• Lab calls and follow up
• Clean and sterilize instruments and make surgical packs
• Provide support, where needed, to your team

REQUIREMENTS:

• One year Clinical Medical Assistant experience is preferred, and dermatology experience is a plus
• Superb customer service skills
• Professional manner and appearance at all times
• Pleasant and warm personality
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Team player

• Some evening and some Saturday shifts are required.

• Must live within a 30-minute commute

• EMA EMR experience is a plus
