Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse II (LPN) to join our growing allergy practice. The ideal candidate has a passion for clinical care, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and patient satisfaction. As an LPN, you will provide support for a diverse number of tasks, including, but not limited to performing allergy and asthma testing, administering injections, educating patients, and creating allergy serums and oral desensitization vials for our food allergy program. This position reports to the Practice Manager and providers onsite but will work closely with the team consisting of physicians, NPs, nurses, other LVNs and MAs.

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position, scheduled for 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary based on assigned clinic location, Monday through Friday. This role will be based primarily in our Scottsdale clinic but may also provide support to other nearby locations. The ideal candidate is adaptable and enjoys collaborating across multiple sites to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Education :

Educate patients and families on allergy and asthma management, including respiratory spacer usage and anaphylaxis awareness.

Assist with and perform skin prick testing, patch testing, and breathing assessments.

Prepare exam rooms and patients for provider visits and assist during procedures.

Submit prior authorizations as needed.

Assist with limited prior authorizations.

Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active LPN license in the state of employment (Arizona).

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting.

Comfortable performing complex tasks and applying independent knowledge and judgment.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts).

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $21.00-$33.75 / hour. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skills, education, and experience.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic, if applicable, for extended periods; occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach as needed. Frequent use of hands and fingers for patient care and equipment operation. Must have normal (or corrected) vision and hearing and be able to respond quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment, if applicable.
