Color Lab Technician

Job Description

As a Color Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing color samples for evaluation and formulation. You will support the Refinish Color Matching team in our Delaware, Ohio Plant by conducting essential tasks such as mixing wet paint, spraying paint samples, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lab areas.

Responsibilities

• Mix and spray paint samples to meet production demands.
• Acquire color formulations from the Color Matcher and prepare sample mixtures based on provided paint formulations and recipes.
• Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples.
• Acquire wet paint samples from mixing stations and spray samples according to predefined specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in clean condition.

Work Environment

This position operates on a second shift schedule, from 2pm to 10 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. Personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, will be provided. Contractors must be clean-shaven on the first day for respirator fitting.

This is a Contract position based out of Delaware, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
