This opportunity offers experienced registered nurses the chance to work within a dynamic intensive care unit in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. You will play a critical role in providing specialized care to critically ill patients while supporting a collaborative healthcare team in a unionized hospital setting. This contract position spans 13 weeks, with shift hours stretching over 36 to 48 hours during nights, offering a focused schedule for those who prefer overnight work.

Responsibilities include managing patient care in an ICU setting, quickly adjusting to staffing needs with the possibility of floating up to three times per shift, and delivering excellent clinical interventions. Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as staffing is evaluated every four hours and travelers float before permanent staff per union contract stipulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

• Active Rhode Island Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proven expertise in intensive care nursing
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, unionized hospital environment
• Adaptability to changing patient and staffing needs, including float assignments
