Security Officer - Dispensary Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and care. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact every day in a professional environment.

Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, including retail and commercial areas, as well as the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions based on the specific location and client needs.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
