Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist

This position is for a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, part of the Nevada Air National Guard. Direct and manage subordinate functional areas and to serve as a technical expert. This position provides supervision, subordinate guidance, and team leadership. Incumbent performs long-term planning and organizational development necessary to accomplish Deployment and Distribution functions for programs essential to ANG daily operations, training, and readiness missions.

Location : Reno, NV

Salary : $88,970 - $115,666 per year

Job Type : Permanent, Full-time

This position is open to current federal employees of the hiring agency and current members, those who want to join or transitioning military members.

Responsibilities include :

• Centralized command and control, planning, and execution of all wing deployment operations.
• Direct supervision over subordinate personnel.
• Recommends and participates in the selection of functional supervisors / employees.
• Advises the Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander on flight related issues.
• Participates in unit assessments, inspections, installation deployment plans, deployments, disaster preparedness exercises, and Unit Control Center operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
