Project Manager - Healthcare Applications

Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager – Healthcare Applications to support a leading healthcare system in the greater Philadelphia area. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading enterprise-level applications projects that support clinical operations, revenue cycle functions, and patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager – Healthcare Applications:

• Lead full project lifecycles for healthcare applications including Epic initiatives, system implementations, and software migrations

• Partner with clinical, revenue cycle, and IT stakeholders to define requirements and drive project alignment

• Develop project plans, facilitate meetings, and provide status updates to leadership

• Identify risks, manage issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects

• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to organizational governance standards

Qualifications of the Project Manager – Healthcare Applications:

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience within a hospital or health system environment

• Proven experience supporting healthcare applications implementations or integrations

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, revenue cycle, or patient access environments is highly desired

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and operate independently

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Compensation for the Project Manager – Healthcare Applications:

• Pay Rate: $70-75/hr.

• Long-term Contract Opportunity with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion
