Surgery - Breast Physician

Breast Surgeon NYC Metro Area

A rapidly growing multispecialty medical group serving the Bronx and greater NYC area is seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to join a well-established practice with in-house Radiology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive breast care while working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities :

Provide screening, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for breast conditions (benign and malignant).

Perform core biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, excisional biopsy, lumpectomy, and mastectomy.

Collaborate with oncology, radiology, plastic surgery, and genetic counseling for cancer management.

Conduct in-office biopsies.

Participate in breast cancer tumor boards and quality initiatives (CoC, NAPBC standards).

Teach or mentor within an integrated workforce.

Qualifications :

MD / DO with valid (or eligible) NY medical license.

Board-Eligible / Board-Certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery).

Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred (or equivalent expertise).

Compensation :

Competitive salary : $300K $400K
