THE POSITION

Position Summary

The Head of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with the business objectives. The Head of Finance (Finance Director) will play a critical role in driving efficiency, optimizing resources, improving profitability, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the company’s growth trajectory.

Essential Job Functions :

• Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide business decisions.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Create and maintain management dashboards and KPIs.
• Resource Control & Optimization Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies and margin optimization initiatives.
• Negotiate with suppliers, lenders, and financial institutions to secure favorable terms.
• Risk Management & Compliance Ensure adherence to financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement effective internal controls and governance structures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
• Business Growth & Transformation Support the CEO in strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives.
• Establish financial processes and systems to support aggressive scaling.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency across financial operations.
• Performance & Profitability Analysis Conduct profitability analysis at the client, contract, and business line level.
• Recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
• Team Leadership Build, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team. Currently consists of three but will grow as the company grows in the near term.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
