What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead process improvement programsAnalyze data through data mining and reporting to assess performance vs. company standardsCollaborate with customers on quotes, project scopes, and requirementsDevelop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all functional areasDesign systems that integrate workforce, information flow, machinery, energy, and materials for maximum manufacturing and logistics efficiencyWork with Finance to establish or validate rate card pricing based on time studies and process changesSupport process engineering and operational excellence initiativesLead change management, process validation, training, documentation, and reportingLead implementations of material handling systems and labor management systems to improve capacity and productivityUse CAD or other design software to plan workspace layouts and workflowsPrepare ROI analyses and operational audit reportsCreate performance presentations and recommend process changes to leadershipTravel locally and out-of-state (up to 25%) to support projectsWhat You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Skills)
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5 years of experience in a warehouse operations or process-engineering roleDeep analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with data mining, statistical analysis, and quality engineering toolsStrong technical writing and communication skillsExperience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred)Comfort using CAD software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and third-party logistics (preferred)Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple initiativesValid driver’s license and willingness to travelPhysical ability to sit or stand for long periods, reach, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate a fast-paced warehouse environment
