Maintenance Position:

Pay ranging from $28.90 to $38 per hour based on experience

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support production in a food manufacturing and packaging facility. Position also includes maintaining plant utilities such as boiler, HVAC, air compressors, refrigeration compressors, anhydrous ammonia system, building and grounds maintenance, etc…

Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

·Ability to lift, push, pull products weighing up to fifty pounds out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift products overhead

·Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and other physical requirements as needed

·Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test, alcohol screening, and physical exam

·3 Years Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience minimum

·Ability to quickly troubleshoot and repair machinery issues

·Pneumatics & Programmable Logic Controllers Experience

·HVAC experience preferred

·Ammonia experience preferred

·Electrical experience preferred (3 phase 480 volt systems)

·Hydraulic experience preferred

·Basic welding skills preferred (Mig/Tig/Stick)

·Set up and change out of various machine lines

·Ability to read and follow blueprints

·Plumbing skills

·Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

·Strong team player

·Communication skills

Duties:

·Good interpersonal skills are a must.

·Diagnose mechanical problems quickly and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair/owner manuals, engineering specifications, and parts catalogs as necessary.

·Maintain high speed processing equipment, pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installation of equipment.

·Adjust and repair packaging equipment as needed.

·Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment.

·Interface with Operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant reliability.

·Work with both Outside Contractors and Plant Operations to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.

·Other responsibilities as requested.

Education Experience:

·Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.

·High School diploma or G.E.D.

·Trade school completion for Electrical is a plus
