NDT Level II Radiographer

Join our Team as an X-Ray Reader (NDT Level II) in the Aerospace Industry!

Summary :

The X-Ray Reader will play a crucial role in utilizing non-destructive testing expertise to ensure compliance with quality standards set by our company and our clients. You will interpret radiographic images while documenting results according to established techniques. Additionally, you'll develop shooting techniques, calibrate equipment, and provide training to X-Ray Shooters / Readers as necessary.

Essential Functions :

• Conduct non-destructive testing using radiographic images to assess casting quality and identify necessary corrections for part discrepancies.
• Follow established techniques for radiographic inspections of castings via technique cards.
• Evaluate images to ensure both uniform accuracy and image quality.
• Visually inspect each casting to detect areas needing improvement in casting or welding.
• Identify frequently occurring imperfections and liaise with engineering or other relevant departments.
• Authorize radiographic reports confirming that complete and accurate inspections have been conducted and findings recorded.
• Develop and refine shooting techniques as necessary.
• Calibrate and maintain radiographic equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
