Description : Position Summary

Responsible for daily jobsite deliveries as scheduled. Secondary responsibilities include performing scheduled installation and service of products at specified jobsite(s). This position follows standard work methods in accordance with company policies and practices, and maintains safe work habits, to ensure deliveries and installations are as efficient and secure as possible under the direction of the assigned Lead Installer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily completion and accurate reporting of the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Evaluates each scheduled job daily and works to ensure all required materials (countertop, backsplash, etc.), tools, and supplies are available on assigned vehicle(s)
  • Deliver daily jobsite materials as scheduled
  • Works with the installation team to appropriately and safely remove and / or install the product at the highest standard
  • Completes every installation according to company expectations and leaves each job site in a clean and orderly manner
  • Responsible for obtaining customer signature and uploading delivery receipts to job software (as applicable)
  • Confirms install details by accurately completing and submitting Install recaps for review (as applicable)
  • Responsible for providing job completion notification to Dealers via phone or email (as applicable)
  • Maintain a safe driving record
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned vehicle and job site(s) as applicable
  • Other duties as assigned by the Install Manager or Team Leads

  • Education / Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Clean motor vehicle report (MVR)
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • 1-3 years trade-related experience, required (may be promoted from Install / Flex position)
  • Proficient with mechanical and measurement skills
  • Language, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written detailed installation and service requests
  • Able to accurately direct questions to the appropriate person
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision

  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Computer Knowledge and Technical Skills
  • Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone / iPhone skills
  • Working knowledge of required software
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure

  • Remain alert and maintain situational awareness while driving
  • Follow all Blasius driver login protocols
  • Observe all traffic safety laws and ensure driving is appropriate for conditions
  • Physical Demands
  • Required to sit and stand throughout the day
  • Lift and / or carry (up to 200#, with assistance) periodically, possibly above shoulder level
  • Kneel, bend, balance, squat, twist, push, pull, and / or crawl
  • Climb to varying heights
  • Walk up / downstairs throughout the workday
  • Use of fine dexterity, talk, listen, read documents, use of computers, phone, tablets
  • Observe work environment

  • Requires the ability to adapt to constant change with the customer, environment, and surroundings
  • May be exposed to varying temperatures and conditions

  • Daily travel required, with occasional overnight travel required at the company’s discretion
