The Search E-Commerce team leads the development of TikTok's advanced search algorithm, vital for its expanding global e-commerce platform. Using state-of-the-art large-scale machine learning, NLP, CV, and multi-modal technologies, we aim to create a top-tier search engine that delivers the best e-commerce search experience to over a billion monthly active users worldwide. Our mission is to make every reasonably priced product easy to sell.

Responsibilities :

• Improve search quality and user experience by optimizing query analysis and relevance matching.
• Understand e-commerce video content and implement multi-modal matching to enhance perceived product authority.
• Enhance the end-to-end shopping experience, from browsing to after-sales.
• Design and implement ranking systems to personalize shopping interests.
• Increase shopping conversion rates for merchandise, videos, and live streams to grow GMV.
• Address industry and business challenges such as supply-demand matching, business cold start, and sustainable growth.
• Analyze and evolve systems for long-term, sustainable GMV growth.

Job Details :

Salary range : $145,000 - $250,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
